Hidden Springs of McKinney Senior Living Hosts a Texas Themed Event to Commemorate its First-Year Anniversary

McKinney, TX, April 21, 2021– Celebrating Texas-style, Hidden Springs of McKinney Senior Living hosted A Taste of Hidden Springs event on Wednesday, April 14 to mark its first-year anniversary with an exclusive group including key members of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and Senior Services Alliance. This professional mixer event introduced the Hidden Springs residents and staff members to the North Dallas community to incite meaningful connections.

As the first guest speaker, King Graham, Resident Council President of Hidden Springs happily welcomed the guests to join in the festivities and said, “There is still a lot of life to live here at Hidden Springs and lots of friends and memories to make here!”

With Texas-themed food, spirits, and music, the evening was filled with magic moments as guests partook in country dancing, palate-pleasing Texas fare, and making memorable interactions. Highlights of this special evening include local favorites like Texas wines, TUPPS beer, spirit tastings from Lockwood Distilling Co. and live music by country guitarist, Byron Haynie. To ensure all guests left with a lasting impression, Hidden Springs staff bestowed gifts bags that featured Hidden Springs’ very own signature steak rub.

In addition to celebrating its first year, Hidden Springs is thrilled to welcome new residents to its new memory care neighborhood starting this month. With the addition of memory care services, Hidden Springs now offers a full continuum of care for its residents. In March 2020, the community opened with 130 independent living apartments; in Fall 2020, it added 40 assisted living apartments; and in April, it added 27 memory care apartments.
