Meet Chef Shaun Hanna
A graduate of the Culinary Arts, Restaurant Management program at the University of Akron, Chef Shaun Hanna has worked in a variety of settings, creating culinary delights for country clubs, corporate catering and fine dining. But he found a true calling in retirement communities. Relocating to Texas in 2008, he has worked in communities in Dallas, Irving, Frisco, Plano and now at Hidden Springs in McKinney. What makes leading the dining program in a retirement community so special?
According to Chef Shaun, “There is a true feeling of kindred spirits within these communities. Here, I am cooking for my extended family. And no one goes away hungry!“
