Event Details

Join us for a virtual presentation as Former Wisconsin Gov. Martin J. Schreiber talks about the challenges of being an Alzheimer's caregiver. He knows what he’s talking about – his wife, Elaine, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease 12 years ago. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to be a caregiver and loving spouse to someone who no longer recognizes him. Listen and be moved as he tells their love story and of Elaine’s transformation from the gracious former First Lady of Wisconsin into someone who now depends on family and professional help for all her basic daily care. He lovingly shares their story in the acclaimed My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer’s Caregiver. RSVP by Monday, May 17
